Project Overview
In this project, I was assigned to create an ABC book for a font that I was to create. I wanted my topic to be about nature because I knew I wanted to make a blocky, adventurous font. So I came up with the idea of creating a book where each page was a leaf from a tree that began with an A, B, C...etc. Every leaf would have the letter that the tree name began with. Below the letter would be both the common and scientific name of the tree in complimentary fonts to the one I created. To bind my book, I got a copper tube and made a big ring. I felt this binding would be helpful if someone wanted to just grab the ring and carry it with them or help to amuse a child, if they wished to play with it.
